A little about the artist.

-Art is one of the only things I’ve ever flourished in and it’s where I feel most comfortable. While I am producing art work, I am able to just disconnect from the world, to really put everything back into my own perspective and it makes me feel better as a human. The deceptive nature that can be generated in two dimensions intrigues me, along with the freedom of possibilities that different media provides. Work in three dimensions provides much more of a physically daunting challenge and I feel a strong sense of pride when the piece is done. There is a sense of unspoken beauty in being able to wield a paintbrush and to mold raw unforgiving materials into new creations. I adore the fact that there is always something new to learn - a new medium or just a new technique - the possibilities are endless. Art acts as a filter which enables me to understand the world and myself. Within art I have the ability to connect and relate with others silently.
